It is important that both
parents and pupils make themselves familiar with the contents of this page and should
be read and understood in conjunction with

We recommended that all children in Nepal receive the following vaccines at the (usually CDC) suggested times. There is some room for varying the exact timing and this could be discussed at the clinic.
Hepatitis A and B
Polio
Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (Whooping cough) (This usually comes as one vaccine)
Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German measles) (This usually comes as one vaccine)
Typhoid
HIB (Hemophylus Influenza type B)
The following are also to be considered:
Varicella (Chicken Pox)
Rabies pre-immunization
Meningococcus
Pneumococcus vaccine when it is available for infants.
Japanese encephalitis
