On Saturday, 23^rd February 2013 the Young Enterprise Club (Years 11 & 12) organised a bicycle rally. The aim of the rally was to raise maximum funds for the sixth form charity, The Dhading Project.

The starting point of the Rally was at Patan Durbar Square where roughly 150 bikers gathered by 8 a.m. It was an incredible sight, and an aura of excitement buzzed through the air. The bikers set off at 8:15 a.m., with several of the youngest bikers leading after a first aid van.

The route had a Nepali Heritage theme. Starting at Patan Durbar Square, the bikers went through the streets of Kathmandu to Basantapur where they enjoyed some refreshments. From Basantapur, the bikers came back via Durbarmarg to the finishing point, which was at school.

At school, food and drinks were sold on the field. Dechen Lin restaurant provided the food, and drinks were sponsored by Malla Hotel. Event T-shirts, printed by star fashion were also sold. It was a warm day, and bikers and parents were able to enjoy a relaxed Saturday morning on the school grounds.

Sponsors for the events were Laxmi Bank, Malla Hotel, Lovebirds Ice Cream, Giordano, Ashray Jewelers and The Chephangs Mountain Biking Group. The event was a success and a total of 2 lakhs was raised for the Dhading Project.
