TBS Students win Cambridge Awards Print E-mail

This Wednesday, four students of the British School were invited to the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony at the Everest Hotel. The awards are based on the A and AS level examination results of students who sat their exams in Nepal. There are approximately 35 schools in Nepal which teach the A level curriculum. Sarin KC was awarded for having the Top in Nepal AS level result for Economics. Lila Maya Colston-Nepali was awarded in the same category for Biology and Psychology. Pranay Panday received a High Achievement Award in Art and Design AS level. ‘High Achievement’ Awards are based on outstanding performance in subjects which are not as widely taken in Nepal as the ‘Top in Nepal’ Award subjects. Kencho Paldon Ongdi was awarded for High Achievement in Geography A level and Lila Maya Colston-Nepali for High Achievement in English Literature AS level. Lila also received first place for the Best Across Four AS levels in Nepal.
