Welcome to Class 4G's webpage


We are lucky to have 20 children in 4G from all over the world: Nepal, Britain, The United States, Japan, India, Australia, Afghanistan, South Korea, Columbia, Germany, The Netherlands, Thailand and Pakistan.

Our class teacher is Miss Garner and our teaching assistant is Mrs. Chhetri. Miss Wiggers also teaches our class.

 Literacy


We will be studying Playscrpits and Persuasive writing, as well as Stories that Raise Issues and dilemmas.

Mathematics

In Mathematics we will be continuing to look at the four basic number operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) as well as working on fractions, decimals, shapes and data handling.


Science

In Science we are thinking about "Moving and Growing" and the skeleton, and then thinking about "Keeping Warm."

Topic - History

Our topic this term will be based around the theme of "The Romans"

Information and Communication Technology

In I.C.T. we will be looking at basic programming - moving Bee-Bots.  We will also make charts using spreadsheets


Design and Technology

In D.T. we will making Pop-Up cards.


Art

Below are some pictures of our scultures from Term 2. In Term 4 we will be making some Mosaics, like the Romans.

Physical Education

In P.E. lessons we will be improving our gymnastics skills and playing rounders.


Personal, Social and Health Education

In P.S.H.E. we will be thinking about why it is "Good to be Me"
