Term Two: Artists Proof Print Gallery

Our topic for term two was Mighty Mountains. During this topic we looked closely at the Surrealist Art of Nepali Artist: Ragini Upadhyay Grela. At the gallery we looked at the intricate detail of her work and saw the mixed medium she uses. We then replicated these in our own art work, focusing on interpreting our vision for Nepal. Raini's blog can be found here: http://ragini-art.blogspot.com/

Term One: Patan Museum

Our topic for term one was Ancient Egyptians. During this topic we visited Patan Musuem to help us prepare for our own class museum: The Cairo Museum of Antiquities. Whilst at Patan Museum we looked closely at how the artifacts were displayed and presented. We used the museum map and took a tour guide. We even got to visit the museum gift shop!
