The travel and tourism industry is one the largest growing industries worldwide therefore during the GCE applied Travel and Tourism course students experience and become involved in a number of projects and tasks enabling them not only to develop their own skills but understand the increasing need for tourism organisations to become sustainable and responsible.
Studying in a country which offers some of the most exciting travel opportunities in the world the students gain an insight into how to manage, market and sustain the environment around them. There are many opportunities for field trips both within and outside of Nepal. The biannual trip visited the sights and developments of Dubai in January 2011 and is planned again for November 2012.
