Discovering Chitwan!

Year 13 Geography and Biology students spent last weekend with Mr Priest and Ms Hands in and around Chitwan National Park. The aim of the visit was to support their A Level courses by looking at the different ecosystems, conservation management, ecotourism and the impact of tourism. This was accomplished through visits to social projects, the Tharu cultural village, meeting with National Park rangers and jungle safaris on foot and on elephants. There was also some fun to be had through bathing elephants, feeding a baby elephant and traditional dancing! Please see our gallery of photographs
