International Women’s Day Assembly with Mira Rai
On Monday the Year 11s led an assembly to celebrate the achievements of women this year for Women’s Day. After outlining the progress that women’s political movements have made this year they discussed their own female role models explaining why they had been inspired by them. Our special guest Mira Rai then talked about how she had leapt at her opportunity to move from a poor mountain community to National Geographic Adventurer of the Year 2017. An incredibly inspirational morning!
