TBS is a safe recruiter committed to keeping children safe and happy. Please read our safeguarding policy below if you are considering an application.
We usually advertise in the Times Educational Supplement (www.tes.co.uk) in early November and interview in December for the following academic year. However, there may be rare vacancies which will be advertised through this website and the TES during the year.
For all teaching positions we usually require at least 3 years UK curriculum experience. Candidates must have a UK recognised teaching qualification and as part of our safer recruiting policy we require an enhanced DBS (CRB) check.
Pro-Active & ongoing Recruitment
We are always keen to know about candidates who are interested in becoming a part of the teaching team and dedicated applicants of the highest calibre with relevant qualifications and experience are invited to submit an application AT ANY TIME DURING THE YEAR.
The school has a pro-active approach to the recruitment and welcomes those with a genuine interest to submit their details for consideration at any time.
All such applications will be acknowledged and potential employees will be invited to participate in a skype interview. Thereafter, and only with your permission, your contact details will be kept on record and you will automatically be informed about any suitable vacancies which arise in the future and which we feel might be of interest to you.
An application letter should be included with your completed TBS application form and submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post, marked for the attention of The Human Resource Department, The British School, PO Box: 566, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The British School Kathmandu is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures, including checks with past employers, and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check. Our safeguarding and safer recruitment policies are shared with all prospective candidates.
