Welcome to THE BRITISH SCHOOL Print E-mail
SandjWelcome to the website for The British School, Kathmandu. I trust you find the information included both useful and informative. Hopefully it will answer most of your questions but if not then please do not hesitate to email us and we will be delighted to answer your questions. The school is well established and has a very good reputation. Children achieve very high standards and we are proud of them.

The introduction of a Sixth Form in 2004 with students studying the Cambridge International A level rounded us off as a 3 to 18 independent international British school. This initiative has been well received by our students and parent body.

The beauty of TBS, as it is fondly known by residents here in Nepal, is the small family size which  enables staff to build  strong bonds with the children and get to know our families well. This, coupled with teachers and parents working together as a team for the benefit of the children in our care, ensures that each child is fully supported at each stage of learning.

The friendly atmosphere, joined with an amazing mix of cultures and nationalities, enhances the warm, caring institution, which embraces a child whilst allowing them the freedom to develop and realise their full potential.
