Dear students and parents,
You know it is Christmas when our Early Years and Key Stage 1 students are practising for their Christmas Extravaganza, coupled with our Winter Concert where our older students perform. It is normally a highlight of the year when they showcase their hard work in the school hall which was scheduled for next week. You can view both the Extravaganza and the Winter Concert (renamed ‘virtually for you’) in the comfort of your own home this year and don’t need to struggle for space in the hall to get a recording on your phone! Click below to get into the Christmas spirit. We also have the Christmas Bedtime Stories on Monday with some very special guest narrators so please join us if you can.
Early Years and Key Stage 1 Christmas Extravaganza
Winter Concert (renamed ‘virtually for you’)
We have seen many families and students on campus this week. It has been great to see new students meeting their buddies, the library being utilized and even some of our PE examination students being put through their paces on the astro. I will be writing to all parents on Monday with regard to the next steps in ensuring a safe return to campus.
Instead of celebrating Christmas with our community partners with traditional gifts, we are providing vital supplies that will enable a safe return for their students. Next week, we have our first Community Partners meeting which will include students from both sections of the school, working with our leadership team in steering the future direction of these important partnerships. Our student leaders will provide updates in due course and you can read more about some of their other initiatives below. If you keep reading, you will also see how much is still being achieved by our wonderful students right the way across all keys stages.
Have a lovely weekend and please stay safe.
