We are looking forward to our exciting Curriculum Day which will be on Saturday Feb 4th. This was scheduled due to the long Tihar holiday this year which reduced our standard teaching days. Students and staff are looking forward to this excellent opportunity to go beyond the curriculum and apply their learning in a range of contexts. It will include amongst other things Forest Schools, a workshopped play of Aladdin and activities with our Community Partners.
We have been very grateful to all of the parents who have attended the different events this week including our Primary Forum and the Secondary Science workshops. Events like these help us to understand our community needs and also support parents and carers to learn more about how we help their children to learn. Parents are always welcome to contact us with their comments and we are thankful to have such a positive and supportive community.
Students in Primary and Early Years are permitted to use the play facilities after school either until 3pm or for up to 1 hour while they wait for a sibling to finish so they can return home together. During this time the students must remain in the play area and must be actively supervised by their parent or carer as we do not have staff on duty during this time. Children are not allowed free access to the site as there are still other activities taking place and they need to be in an area that their adult can actively supervise. If other people are collecting your children e.g. didis, please ensure that they are also aware of the need to be actively supervising their child and with them at all times.
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend.
