Aadya, Subigya and Manas from the Y10 Chinese class joined the Chinese band in the Open Mic event and performed a Mandarin song! It was amazing to see them enjoy themselves and use the language in a different way.
The whole Year 10 Chinese class did mini-lectures as an end-of-term tradition to wrap up any grammar structures they learnt during the term. They explained well and also designed questions for their classmates to test each other’s knowledge.
In Business, students have been covering functions of management and types of leadership style. Mr Goacher has been really impressed by Shaurya, Harshit, Kuenlay, Ishat, Siya and Riya and their contribution and attainment during the lessons.
In Psychology, Year 10 are enjoying studying the psychology of memory, particularly short-term memory and the experiment by husband and wife psychology team Peterson and Peterson, as well as looking at planning their own research study on memory. They may ask you to take part in their research studies!

Finally Year 10 English students have been preparing presentations on some of the poems from their IGCSE literature anthology. They have done an excellent job analyzing the theme and language of these works, as well as providing their classmates with some opportunities for discussion. Beginning on Wednesday, each group of students will be teaching their assigned poem to their classmates.
