Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
I have been gladdened to see so many families on campus this week. Parents have been attending information sessions, meeting our staff and socialising at Café Yeti before school. It is always delightful getting to know our new parents and catching up with our established community members and I have been appreciative of the kind and thoughtful comments that you have been sharing with me in support of our school.
Our TBS OWLS group plays a key role in welcoming parents and they will be hosting a Family Picnic in school at lunchtime on Sunday September 4th. All families are invited and we hope this will be a social way to welcome new parents to our TBS community. This will be a “bring-a-dish” event and we are looking forward to seeing many of you there. Please do take this opportunity to spend time on campus, meet some new people and share some home-cooked food.
As you will see in the secondary section, our students have achieved exceptionally well in their recent exams. We could not be more proud of everything that they have achieved. It is gratifying to see the hard work of everyone recognised in this way. Well done to you all!
Our co-curricular activities start on Monday. Places are always allocated on a lottery basis after the deadline has closed to make it as fair as possible. Parents should have received notification of their child’s activities, please take note of the collection times on each day. If you have any questions, please contact Ms Tiwari at atiwari@tbs.edu.np.
