Early Years Craft Workshop
On Thursday afternoon our Early Years children were very excited to welcome their parents for a special spring themed craft event. Our outdoor area was transformed into a vibrant craft workshop, filled with an array of materials and paintings of the children’s artwork. The children eagerly explored the various craft stations and worked together with their parents to make their creations. As the event drew to a close, the children proudly shared their amazing work with their families, friends and teachers and celebrated all their fantastic achievements!

House Point Celebration Lunch
On Friday, the House Captains hosted an exciting lunch with 12 students who had earned the most house points in their class. They celebrated by bringing in their favourite foods and enjoying a special meal on the balcony while taking part in fun games like Pin the Tail on the Donkey and Musical Chairs. This monthly event will continue, and the House Captains look forward to rewarding more outstanding students in the future.

Y5 Assembly
This week, Year 5 invited parents to the primary weekly assembly to showcase their learning from the Mission to Mars topic. The children creatively demonstrated their understanding in ways they designed themselves, including skits, astronaut training activities, and news broadcasts. Throughout this unit, they have explored the solar system, space exploration, and Mars rovers, developing their knowledge in an exciting and hands-on way.
Here’s what the children had to say about their learning:
‘It was really interesting to learn about the Mars Rover and how it got to Mars’ – Priya 5H
‘It was really engaging to build the crumble kit cars as it made us think a lot’ – Aayan 5H

Maths Parent Information Session
We recently held a Maths Parent Information Session, where students took an active role in presenting their learning. The session provided an overview of how maths is taught in our school, including key strategies, problem-solving approaches, and ways to support learning at home.
Our students confidently demonstrated various maths activities, explaining concepts and engaging parents in hands-on tasks. This interactive approach allowed parents to experience firsthand how their children develop mathematical understanding in a fun and supportive environment.
Thank you to all the parents who attended—we appreciate your involvement in your child’s learning journey!
