Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
As the weather gets colder and the evenings get darker, we are making the most of the outdoor time and spaces that we have at TBS. It is wonderful to see students being active outdoors in the sunshine when they can and enjoying socialising and sports activities in the fresh air. It was particularly pleasing to see this as our clubs started this week. We are extremely focussed on building these sorts of opportunities for our students as well as strengthening their engagement in the arts, creative learning, academic support and personal skills through our co-curricular programme.
TBS is a wonderful educational establishment with high standards and a real focus on academic learning. However it is also a place where they can explore learning beyond academics and develop practical skills, intellectual interests and creative passions. As we move forward we would like to increase the opportunities for students to explore these beyond the curriculum and an after-school co-curricular programme will enhance their access to this. We will soon be preparing for Term 3’s programme and will be seeking student and parental input into the kinds of additional opportunities you would like to see us offer at TBS. Watch this space for more details.
Best wishes,
