Dear Parents/Carers, Staff and Students,
Thank you to all of the family members who attended the Community Concert on Thursday. Our students performed together with Shamrik School and really gave it their all. Well done for a superb concert.
As members of FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools In Asia) we are able to benefit from training and professional support. We also contribute to the development of other FOBISIA members by sharing our own expertise. This weekend we are welcoming teachers from FOBISIA, as we host training for middle leaders on Curriculum Development. This promises to be an excellent event and our staff are looking forward to collaborating with other professionals for the benefit of our students.
TBS is a great supporter of the creative arts and this week we launched our photography competition. This is aimed at students from all over the valley and they are invited to submit their entries on the theme ‘Colourful Kathmandu’. The competition will culminate in an exhibition of the finalists’ work and a presentation of prizes. Winners will have the opportunity to use our TBS photography dark room alongside our expert teachers and take the art of photography back to its roots as they explore analogue photo production.

Yesterday marked the second edition of the Community Concert, featuring outstanding performances by students from Y1 to Y6 and Shamrik school students. The students impressed us with their diverse talents, showcasing their skills in playing instruments, singing beautifully, and dancing energetically! The event included a mix of upbeat songs and touching ballads, with many solo performances to highlight the students’ skills. Nepali songs and dances added a special touch to the concert. The event ended with a special staff performance, adding to the festive atmosphere.
