We have had another exciting week in Early Years and Primary. We started the week with the Year 4 assembly, where it was so lovely to see so many families joining us.Our Year 4 students proudly shared how they embraced the powers of our TBS Learning Animals—resilience, empathy, cooperation, responsibility, creativity, and more! Through personal reflections, rhymes, and experiences, they demonstrated how these traits help us grow as learners every day. From taking risks like the Rhino to thinking deeply like the Chimpanzee, the children gave a joyful and insightful glimpse into Primary learning at TBS. The highlight was definitely the enthusiastic performance of our beloved ‘Fruit Cannon,’ with parents joining in the fun. It was a special celebration of learning, growth, and our incredibly supportive school community. Year 4 confidently highlighted why they are so proud to call TBS their school!

What a joy it was to watch our incredible Year 3 students take to the stage for their end-of-year assembly! The performance was a vibrant celebration of everything they have learned and achieved this year, showcasing their talents through singing, dancing, and storytelling.
With enthusiasm and confidence, the children led their peers and parents on a journey through the many highlights of their Year 3 adventure. From scientific discoveries and historical explorations to creative writing and teamwork, the assembly reflected the breadth and depth of their learning in a truly inspiring way.
The Year 3 team couldn’t be prouder of the way the students brought this performance together. Not only did they speak and perform with clarity and confidence, but they also radiated pride in their accomplishments—and reminded us all of the importance of dreaming big.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who came to support, and congratulations to every Year 3 student for a memorable and uplifting performance!

On Wednesday, the Early Years event at the British Embassy brought together our Early Years children, their families and teachers for a fun-filled and exciting ‘Under the Sea’ Themed day.
The children undertook a sea animal treasure hunt and together with their parents eagerly took part in classic games like the coconut shy, testing their aim as they tried to knock down coconuts. Face painting was also popular, with the children choosing colourful and imaginative designs that transformed them into sea creatures, superheroes, and more. The magnetic fishing game added an extra element of fun and challenge, and the children had lots of fun trying to put a crown onto a mermaid whilst blindfolded!
There was also an opportunity for the parents to join in with wellington boot throwing, an egg and spoon race and even a sack race! This event was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect and we are sure everyone made some special memories. We would like to thank everyone for their participation and the British Embassy for hosting the event.

Newspaper Club
We are pleased to share the first edition of this year’s student newspaper, created by members of the Newspaper Club. The publication provides a student’s perspective of recent events and topics of interest within our school community.
Students from Years 4, 5, and 6 have taken responsibility for planning, researching, writing, and editing the content. The majority of the articles have been independently produced by the students themselves. We encourage you to read the newspaper to learn more about the activities and achievements taking place across the school.
