Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
It has been a real pleasure to see so many parents and carers in school this week. With PTCs, information sessions and school performances happening, the school has been abuzz with parents and family and I very much appreciate that so many of you took the time to come and see me, chat and show your support for our school. Thank you also for completing the questionnaire which was overwhelmingly positive. It is incredibly uplifting to know that we have the support of so many thoughtful and caring parents who also represent the values of the school.
In the survey, a few parents mentioned that they would like to know more about what their child is being taught each term. As a result of this feedback, we will be consolidating the information shared with parents into an easy to access format so that you can refer to this in a more convenient way. Further details will be shared in the newsletter.
I am extremely proud of the students and staff who have been taking part in our Shakespeare festival. Regardless of the size of the role, the performers committed to their parts with such incredible enthusiasm. The joy of seeing our students back on the stage in front of a full audience was quite something for all of the staff here at TBS.
We are asking all children and staff to have an antigen test before they come to school, on Monday April 25th and to log your results here. Many of you will be going overseas during the break. If this is the case and you have been out of the country, we will also be asking over 5 year old’s to take an additional test on the morning of Wednesday April 27th. If the excellent reduction in cases in Nepal continues, we will be reducing the COVID precautions in school in a staggered way in Term 4.
I very much look forward to seeing you all after the holiday.
