This week, we’re thrilled to welcome all our Primary Community Partners for a series of fun-filled, collaborative learning activities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build connections, share ideas, and learn together. Our Primary students have also been working hard to create a variety of handmade, eco-friendly products for the Eco Fair. We can’t wait to celebrate their efforts and creativity with you all next Friday—see you there!
EYFS/1/2
Our EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 learners welcomed children from Shramik School for a morning of inspiring Forest School-themed activities. Together, the children explored nature through hands-on experiences in the school grounds. One highlight was flower printing on t-shirts, where everyone used real petals and leaves to create unique, nature-inspired designs-a process known as “Hapa Zome” or flower pounding. This collaborative outdoor session helped build new friendships between TBS and our Community Partner school whilst encouraging deeper connections with the natural world, both key components of Forest School learning.

Year 3 & 4
This Wednesday, Year 3 and 4 were delighted to welcome children from Mary Ward School to join us for a morning of creativity and connection.
Our visitors first joined us in our classrooms, where we worked together on crafting beautiful handmade items for our community stall at the upcoming Eco Fair. The children collaborated brilliantly, sharing ideas and supporting each other as they created a range of thoughtful and eco-friendly products.
After a busy and productive crafting session, we headed outside to enjoy some time in the fresh air. The children played games together in our outdoor spaces, strengthening new friendships and enjoying the opportunity to get to know one another better.
It was a real pleasure to share our learning environments—both inside and out—with our new friends from Mary Ward School. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to collaborate and learn together again soon.

Year 5
The Year 5 TBS students have been busy this week designing and making maths related games to play with the Shree Tika students in Year 5 and Year 6 for Friday. On Friday, they will be working in groups to share their games and play some exciting maths games. At the end of the session, we will be giving these resources so the students can continue to play back at school and maybe even teach some other students how to play the games. Finally, both sets of students will work collaboratively to come up with a new game that tests their mathematical ability while being a lot of fun!

Year 6
A group of enthusiastic Year 6 students have taken the lead in organising and delivering PE activities for the students of Shree Tika School, using equipment donated by TBS. Demonstrating both initiative and empathy, they also chose to use funds raised from selling their artwork to purchase additional sports equipment for our partner school. Today, they introduced a variety of fun and engaging activities, allowing both groups of students to enjoy the new resources together.
