As we move into week 3 we will be exploring Phillip Pullman’s ‘Clockwork’. This will be our main text for the rest of term 1 whilst we explore narrative writing.
IPC
In IPC we will be beginning our new topic ‘Earth as an Island’, where we will consider the problems facing small island nations and how they reflect the problems facing our planet at large.
In Maths we will be revisiting place value and ordering of numbers, before moving onto rounding and further numeracy.
In Year 6 we will be learning about learning for the first 2 weeks as we explore our IPC unit ‘Brainwaves’.
In Brainwaves we will learn about growth mindsets, learning journeys and how our brains develop. Find out more with the video below!
