Year 1 and 2 Camp TBS – A Memorable Adventure!

On Thursday, our Year 1 and Year 2 students enjoyed a wonderful start to their Camp TBS experience with a day trip to Dirty Duck, an outdoor centre and farm. The day was filled with engaging and enriching activities, beginning with a nature hike where the children learned about a variety of plants and their uses, and even had the opportunity to plant their own flowers.

The children also met a range of farmyard animals, discovering many fun and interesting facts along the way. Throughout the day, they took part in a variety of games that encouraged teamwork, resilience and cooperation, making it a truly memorable outdoor learning experience.

Back at school, the fun continued with more games, followed by a special TBS library cinema experience, which was a perfect way to relax and wind down before bedtime after such an exciting day.

We were incredibly proud of all the children, who were wonderfully behaved throughout and demonstrated a wide range of learning powers in their choices, including collaboration, curiosity, independence and perseverance.

We hope this experience will be remembered as one of the highlights of their time at school, and we look forward to many more shared adventures in the future!
