This term has certainly been vital for our school to come together as a community once again. It may sound a little repetitive, but it is truly wonderful to see everyone back on campus interacting with each other instead of being behind the screen. From the GCSE and AS Awards Celebrations to the Winter Concert, we’ve had some amazing opportunities to slowly bring back the sense of togetherness and normality that was largely absent for the past year and a half.
Reflecting on the past term and the year 2021, despite the many obstacles we have faced as both a community and as individuals, there have been many achievements that deserve celebration. Everyone, please give yourself a massive pat on the back for making it through what has been a difficult year. This is mainly aimed at the older secondary students, but please make sure you get enough rest, celebrate your achievements, and spend time with your friends and family over the break; you all deserve it! We hope you have a lovely winter break and we’re excited to see you all back at the beginning of the new year – remember that every end marks a new beginning! 🙂
