Year 10 have had an amazing start to the new academic year and it has been fantastic to see so many of our year 10 students on campus so far this year. There have been so many examples of excellent work produced by students over the last few weeks and below are just a few that have been shared by your teachers.
In Chinese, students have nailed a creative task by designing a questionnaire for an imaginary character. Each student was assigned to be a ‘student leader’ and was responsible for collecting data on students’ different hobbies. Here are some of the nice pieces of work that really impressed Ms Wong! 非常好!
Year 10 psychology students have been training to be brain surgeons! No, not really, but they have been learning all about the human brain, how it works and what happens when it is damaged. They created some excellent posters and also played the Brain Injury Jamboard Game that Mr Piaf created in collaboration with a professional artist. Well done Year 10 psychology!
Below are just a few examples of the fantastic work produced by year 10, well done!
Finally the Year 10 BTEC Music Class have been learning about the music industry and honing skills that are essential to different job roles. Em has created an excellent piece of work all about production and recording engineer slides.
They have also been looking at international and local versions of the same job roles. Dikha’s did a brilliant analysis of US based producers and Nepal based producers:
Lastly the Year 10 BTEC Music Class have been looking at how job roles link together in the Music industry. Rajeshri’s table shows the discussion we had about ‘who writes the music’ when a new song is released.
Well done Year 10, what a great start to the year and I can’t wait to see more of the brilliant pieces of work your produce over the coming weeks!
