Dear Parents/Carers, Staff and Students,
Trek to the Top was a superb end to Term 1 for Year 5 and Year 6 students. They presented two fabulous shows this week which showcased all of the amazing learning that they have engaged in over this term in their Performing Arts Workshops and International Primary Curriculum. The students entertained us with a lively retelling of the story of the first summit of Mount Everest and the teamwork and support that made the expedition a success. Bravo Year 5 and Year 6!
International Day is always a special time for TBS. As a school with children from all over the world we welcome the opportunity to celebrate the wonderful diversity that they bring to our school. Today was a chance to celebrate and unite as a TBS community and value our similarities as well as our differences. Regardless of which country, land or culture you belong to, I hope that you find your home here at TBS.
Thank you to all of the OWLS who ran the food stalls today for International Day. It was a real joy for our community to be able to sample the culinary delights from the countries we have represented at TBS. It was a delicious treat and the stalls helped to make the day memorable for everyone.
As we close Term 1, we want to say thank you to all of our students, parents/carers, staff and governors who have made sure that this academic year had a fabulous start. We wish you all the very best for the Dashain holiday and send you all our warmest wishes for the festive season.
