Dear Parents/Carers, Staff and Students,
It has been exciting to hear about all of the adventures and gatherings that our students were able to participate in with their families over the half term, especially those who celebrated Lunar New Year/Lhosar. We have also been able to support some of our students on having their own adventures as part of TBS. The U13 squad have been in Thailand at the FOBISIA Friendly Games and doing a fabulous job representing our school as you will read below.
In addition to this, we currently have some students in Rwanda at an excellent event built around female empowerment and we are all very excited to hear about their learning opportunities while they have been there. I am looking forward to sharing more information about this in the future, as we aim to learn how we can use this experience to support the wider community.
We are very proud of the achievements of our Owls Parent Association and particularly of the supportive work of the committee. Please do keep an eye out on the parent/carer year group chats and on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/TBS.Community.Group/) for up to date events. We are all enthusiastic to see our community getting involved and I know they are looking for parents/carers to support their team in the future. Best wishes to those of you participating in the OWLS hiking day this weekend. I am sure it will be a great event.
Have a great weekend,
Principal
