Dear Students, Parents and Carers,
It has been a very exciting week indeed at TBS. On Wednesday we welcomed the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas who invigorated our students and staff with some midweek energy. On Thursday our U13 team returned from the Fobisia Friendly Games in Thailand having had a very successful time competing with other schools. We have also been incredibly busy preparing for some exciting events such as hosting the School Nurses’ Conference tomorrow and planning for Sports Days, the Year 3 and 4 production of Peter Pan and of course our Book Week activities.
We will also be celebrating Mother Language Day on March 7th and would love to invite families to celebrate with us. If you are interested in sharing your home languages with us at the event please get in touch with Anna Griffin (agriffin@tbs.edu.np).
Please be aware that the official date for celebrating Holi in Kathmandu is March 6th. Therefore TBS will be closed on this day.
We were very pleased to have so many parents attend our preliminary Owls Parent Association meeting before half term. There will be a follow-up workshop on Friday March 3rd from 8am – 9:30am. This will be supported by an external professional facilitator who can help guide parents on the next steps in moving forward. We are incredibly excited by this and request that all attendees sign up in advance using this form by 9am on Wednesday so that we can plan appropriately for numbers.
