As we approach the conclusion of another fruitful academic year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation and extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. The support from parents and carers, the unwavering dedication and commitment of our staff and the enthusiasm and hard work of our students, have truly made this year a wonderful journey.
I am grateful for the trust that parents and carers have bestowed upon our school and for their continual involvement in their child’s education. Their support and active participation in school events, parent-teacher conferences and various activities have been invaluable.
Our school is fortunate to have an incredibly talented and devoted team of teachers and support staff. Their boundless passion for teaching and commitment to the growth of our students are truly praiseworthy. Their dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed and I am deeply grateful for the positive impact they have had on the lives of our students. We are ably supported by our school governing body, who are extremely dedicated and give up many hours of their time to ensure that our school is a world-class educational institution.
The students at TBS have demonstrated remarkable creativity, thoughtfulness and determination throughout this academic year. Their thirst for knowledge and their eagerness to push their limits have been a tremendous source of inspiration. Their active engagement in learning opportunities and openness to embracing new experiences have made our school community a vibrant place to learn. They also care deeply for their community and, as well as the face to face partnerships they have built, they have also raised over 1 million rupees to support their community partners this year.
Although we are saying goodbye to some staff and students this year, we know that they will carry the best wishes of TBS with them. Thank you in particular to staff members such as Ms Wiggers (Primary AHT), Ms Griffin (Primary World Languages), Mr Paul (Secondary Computing), Ms Wynn (Secondary Music), Mr Sharma (Secondary Maths), Mr Swar (Guitar), Ms Singh (Primary CLS), Ms Young (Counsellor) and Dr Barnecutt (Secondary Deputy Headteacher).
As we prepare to embark on a well-deserved summer break, I encourage you to take time for rest, rejuvenation and quality time with your loved ones. Let us reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
