Dear Parents/Carers, Staff and Students,
TBS are very proud to welcome back our teams from the Global Round of the Scholar’s World Cup event which has taken place in Bangkok over the last week. Our students did exceptionally well and could barely carry back their many medals and awards. They should be extremely proud of their successes at the event, as well as representing our school so well on an overseas educational visit.
This week I held the first monthly meeting with the OWLS Chair and team for the 23-24 academic year. It was wonderful to hear about all of the exciting things that they have planned and also where they have had a positive impact on our school community. We are looking forward to great community events and support from them this year.
Please be aware that there is still some dengue prevalent in Kathmandu. The school site is regularly fogged at least twice a week at this time of year and we conduct safety checks to ensure we minimise breeding grounds through thorough cleaning procedures. We recommend that you send your children to school wearing some mosquito repellent or patches and loose clothing that covers the arms and legs to give added protection.
We are always looking to expand our range of opportunities for children and young people. Please complete the very brief survey here to let us know what additional activities you would like. There is also the opportunity on the form to put us in touch with organisations that you feel could offer after – school clubs for our students.
