Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
Thank you for a fantastic first week back in school! We have all been thrilled to welcome everybody back to campus and it has been a real joy to see our students rekindling old friendships and starting new ones. Thank you for having such a welcoming approach to our new joiners and for helping them all to feel at home in their new school.
This week we have had more exam results back and have been glowing with pride for our students. Many of our former Y13 students have been busy this week accepting offers from universities all over the world and they have very bright futures ahead of them. We hope that they will stay in touch with us through our Alumni link. We have also received some of the GCSE results back and expect the last results in next week. We will share more information with you soon about how well our students have done.
Notice for withdrawal at the end of term is always 4 weeks before the last teaching day of the term as published in our school calendar. As this is a very short term, the date for notice of withdrawal has come around quickly. The last day of providing the formal notice of withdrawal of your child/children from the school at the end of Term 1 is Tuesday, 23rd August 2022. Further details are available below.
Thank you to everyone who attended the social event part of our AGM last term. The second part of our AGM with the formal report will be scheduled towards the end of September. A date will be published once our external auditors have confirmed the likely completion date of our annual audited financial report.
Over the holidays we carried out a lot of work on our school site. This investment to improve our facilities will benefit our school community both this year and moving forward. We aim to ensure that we can develop learning spaces for our students and that our facilities reflect the world-class school that we are. Here are some highlights below with more photos to follow next week.
